A quick prayer!

Life is hard and with its hardship a lot of things happen, some people end up losing their faith because of how hard one’s life can get. My prayer these days is a song that is mostly sung, it’s a Zulu song that says “Hlala enhlizweni yami ngize ngikubone” which simply translates as Stay in my heart until I see you. I don’t want to miss seeing God not just seeing Him in heaven one day but also seeing and experiencing Him here on earth. The book of Psalm 27:13 says: “I remain confident of this, I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” This means we don’t only get to see God’s goodness after death but even here in the land of the living we can see the goodness of the Lord. I want that, I am praying for that. Not just for myself but my family, my friends, and you. I pray that we may not hear about the goodness of God but we may actually experience it and see it in our lives also.
I pray that the hardships and strongholds that life throws our way don’t separate us from Christ, don’t cause us to turn back but rather move us closer to God. Make us say if life can throw such to us then we want to see what you as a huge able kind of God can do. We want to experience more than this pain and hardship and we know that you are the only place where we can get to experience that.

Yet another song a friend of mine introduced me to says; “ngeke ngisuke kuwe” which means I won’t depart from you Lord or I won’t leave your side. I pray these two songs to become our anthem during hard times, I pray we say these words even with tears rolling down our eyes that Lord we want to see you, please stay in our hearts until we see you. We won’t leave your side Lord, we will sit here and cry while waiting to finally see you in our own lives.

I haven’t written in a while and I have missed writing for you guys but life has been lifing Lol and I have not really known what to write, maybe I didn’t have anything to say to you guys but today this was pressed in my heart that I found myself typing in my phone and this came out of the typing. I hope these few words find a place in your heart and you also join in with me in this prayer of asking God to remain in our hearts until we see Him and His goodness in our own lives. Don’t let the hardships, struggle, suffering, etc. Separate yourself from the love of Christ and Christ Himself. Wait until you see His goodness then decide using both the good and the bad whether you are staying or leaving.

So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!
